India's Underground Sex Trafficking

When we walk out our door we don't realize that many people don't have a picture perfect life like we do. Many girls are being sex trafficked throughout the world and we don't hear about it because it is happening underground. Girls no longer have human rights throughout the world like we do here in the United States.
In India more the 20,000 girls as young as 6 are being sex trafficked, and they are being locked up in brothels around the country.
The girls are being tricked into having a better life; the men offer the parents money and then tell them that they are going to take them to the city for a better life.
A very inspirational women named Anuradha Koirala has devoted her life to helping these girls be rescued from sex trafficking.
More than 80% of the girls Anuradha Koirala has saved are infected with HIV or another infectious disease.

Free Restaurant. :/

Well yesterday student council and I went to go feed the homeless, or as they call them "The Working Poor". They really didn't seem that appreciative for the food, it’s almost like they aspect what they’re getting from the soup kitchen. They get so wrapped up into their regular life’s that they forget that this is a free meal and to be great full for it. The only person that was really nice to Spicy Brown and I was this one black lady with two kids. She was so grateful for the food, she said thank you to us as she sat down. Just her expression told her story about how much she appreciated that meal. She had a smile on her face the whole night it was almost like she knew that this was the place where she could go to find peace in her life. Most of the people that were there eating their food were so rude, they didn't even say one word to us as we sat them down at the table. Honestly I think the people think it’s a free restaurant. The soup kitchen only serves dinner from 4:30 to 6:30. Two hours for the people of the community to come together to eat and relieve stress, forget about all the other troubles they are going through in their everyday life’s.
Volunteering is really something good to look forward in your life, it really helps you to enjoy and be grateful for what you have in your life. After the first time I went to the soup kitchen I just wanted to come home and cry it was like a moment of truth for me, to learn not to take things for granted and be grateful for what I have.

The Half Drawn Curtain Moved.......

The half drawn curtain moved and the magician appeared. But the act never started. The guy just stood there. What if his materials for his act were lost and he could no longer perform or what if he was too nervous to move? Because I know that when I speak in front of large amounts of people I freeze up and I can't talk, I try to but nothing comes out. Or what if he had a performance but he forgot how to do it, because that happens sometimes in sports when the player forgets there play. Hmmm... Yea well I’m pretty sure that the coach would be very mad at the player if that did happen. This audience is clapping out of no reason, or maybe he's speaking through his mind to them so they will like his act and give him 5 stars. I just think I’m thinking to much and not paying attention to what the magician is doing. He's on with his act now, ohh why didn't he start for 5 minutes then? I think he didn't have time to prepare backstage and he prepared on stage when the curtain moved.
